Historic Structures Inventory, City of Yonkers, NY

Since 2009, TKS has been working for the City of Yonkers, identifying historic resources through historic surveys. A city-wide Windshield Survey yielded a list of over 11,000 structures built prior to 1935. The second phase of the project was a Reconnaissance Level Survey of 1,600 buildings captured on a custom database and inventory forms developed by TKS. The third phase is an Intensive Level Survey of select areas in the City; to date approximately 400 structures have been surveyed. Information was recorded within a separate custom database which produces the New York State Inventory Form
